How do I get a transcript from an Instagram Reel?

Can I transcribe a Reel that has no captions?

Yes. We listen to the audio itself, so the Reel doesn't need captions or subtitles turned on.

Does it work on private accounts?

No. Only public posts work, and only content you own or are authorized to process. Reels from private accounts can't be fetched, and you won't be charged.

Can I download Instagram captions as SRT?

Yes. Download the transcript as SRT or VTT with timestamps, or as plain TXT.
