   ```
## Tools
- `get_transcript`: takes `url` (a video link) and returns the transcript, with the platform, author, length and spoken language on the first line. Optional: `language` (ISO 639-1 code, to fix the spoken language instead of auto-detecting) and `timestamps` (true puts the start time in front of every line).
- `get_credit_balance`: returns the credits left on the account.
If a video can't be transcribed, the tool says why in one sentence (private video, longer than 10 minutes, not a video link, out of credits). Failed requests cost nothing.
## Good to know
- **Which videos:** Public YouTube videos and Shorts, TikToks, Instagram Reels and video posts, X, Facebook and RedNote, up to 10 minutes. The transcript comes back in the language spoken in the video.
- **What it costs:** 1 credit per started minute of video, nothing for failed requests. New accounts get 30 free credits, then a monthly plan or a pack. Each connected app can send 10 requests a minute and 200 a day.
- **What the assistant can see:** It can fetch transcripts and spend your credits, nothing else. We never see your chat. Disconnect an app any time in Settings, under API & Connected apps.
